According to written a Fire Department statement, four units responded to the 4:07 p.m. alarm with the first unit on scene at 16-2541 Ainaloa Drive at 4:19 p.m.

The fire was reported under control a minute later and extinguished at 4:24 p.m.

The blaze, which filled the 800-square-foot, single-family dwelling with smoke, was confined to the bath and closet area of the master bedroom.

Fire officials estimate that $30,000 in property was saved.
